Everything is adjustable.
Start from a ready-made style and leave it be, or open everything up. You adjust by eye, right in the comp, and it stays smooth in preview and on export.
Density is dialed in with a curve
A curve sets the tonal response: you choose which areas of the frame fill in, and how much.
The colors are yours
Tile color, background color, or a transparent background to composite over. You can also reuse the source colors.
The charset swaps out
Characters, blocks, binary, katakana… or your own tiles drawn in a comp.

What you can do with Typix.
The full license agreement, the very one shipped inside the pack as LICENCE.txt.
By installing or using the TYPIX plugin (“the Software”), you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.
Ownership
The Software is the exclusive property of Tibo Creteur (Tibzdesign). It is protected by copyright law and international treaties. This license grants you a right to use the Software, not ownership of it.
License granted
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to install and use the Software on the computers you own or control, as part of your activity (including commercial use).
Your creations
The images, videos and renders you produce with the Software belong to you. You may use and sell them freely, royalty-free.
Restrictions
You may not:
- resell, rent, lend, sublicense or redistribute the Software itself (the plugin file or the installer);
- publicly share your copy or your purchase key;
- decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer it, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
- remove or alter the ownership notices.
No warranty
The Software is provided “AS IS”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tibo Creteur / Tibzdesign shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages (loss of data, profits, business interruption, etc.) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Software.
Termination
This license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. You must then uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software.

FAQ
The questions that come up.
Which After Effects version?
Typix installs on After Effects (tested up to version 2026). After installing, close and reopen AE: the effect appears in Effects › Stylize › TYPIX.
Is it a preset?
No. It’s an effect, with its 15 styles already set up, that installs into After Effects via the included installer. It then shows up in Effects › Stylize › TYPIX like a native effect, and drops onto any layer.
Mac and Windows?
Both, in the same download: a Windows folder and a macOS folder, each with its own installer. Just open the one for your system.
Windows shows a warning on install?
That’s expected: Windows warns about any unsigned downloaded file. Easiest fix: right-click the .zip BEFORE extracting → Properties → tick “Unblock” → OK, then extract. Otherwise click “More info” → “Run anyway”. Signing requires a paid certificate I haven’t been able to get yet: it’s in progress, and the signed version will be a free update.
macOS won’t open the installer?
That’s Gatekeeper: macOS blocks any downloaded file that isn’t notarized by Apple. Right-click “Installer TYPIX.command” → “Open” → confirm, once is enough. Notarizing requires a paid Apple Developer account I haven’t been able to get yet: it’s in progress, and the notarized version will be a free update.
Is the interface in French?
The effect panel in After Effects is in English (Style, Size, Color…), like most AE plugins. The included readme explains every setting.
How do I receive the file?
After payment on Lemon Squeezy, you instantly get a download link for the zip: both effects (Typix and Typix Grid), the installer, the uninstaller, the readme and the license.
Are updates included?
Yes. Future versions of Typix are included, accessible from the same link.
Can I use it for clients?
Yes, the license covers personal and commercial use. Only reselling or redistributing the file is forbidden.
